The estate looks cozy and inhabited, if the walls of a residential building, household buildings, terraces, arbors, pergool, etc. D. covered with a picturesque carpet of curly or climbing plants. Burning plants cling to shoots, antennae or cuttings of leaves to the supports of stretched wire, cord, wooden or metal lattices. Climbing plants rise up, clinging to the walls with subordinate roots or suction cups. Vertical landscaping can be not only a decoration of manor buildings, especially stone, but also a means of masking inexpressive architectural elements (deaf walls, fences, gate, etc. P.). Light structures in the form of arches or sieves of wire or wooden rods, entwined with greenery, can serve as screens closing the household yard, compost heaps, toilet, a platform for walking livestock. Under the climatic conditions of the Western Urals, shrubby vines (ivy, hops, honeysuckle, Amur grapes, actinidia, lemongrass, etc.). All these plants are perennials, so much absorbing moisture that can be considered as natural pumps, draining the foundations and walls of buildings. They need loose, well -fertilized soil. Traditional fences that do not always decorate the estate can successfully be replaced by hedges – various heights by ordinary plantings of shrubs and trees. If you choose the right breeds of plants and carefully care for them, you can get a fence that reliably protects not only from unwanted aliens (stray cats, neighboring chickens, etc. P.) and prying views, but also from street dust, wind and noise. As planting material for hedges, rocks with different properties are used: fragrant and flowering (lilac, honeysuckle, mock -up – without trimming), impenetrable (hawthorn, rosehip, etc. with spikes), shade -loving (gold currants, snow -haired), coniferous (spruce, fir, juniper, thuja, cedar stelic), which have the ability to secrete phytoncides and refresh the surrounding air well. Hedges are distinguished in height: very low, called borders – up to 0, 5 m, low – from 0, 5 to 1, medium – from 1 to 3, and high – more than 3 m.
