Battery paint – 1 liter (DUFA) is an enamel on an alkyd basis used to give a beautiful, aesthetic type of heating radiators. For a short time, such a coloring substance can withstand +180 ° C, it is constantly operated – at a temperature of up to +60 ° C. The resulting coating is characterized by strength, elasticity, resistance to conventional detergents.

It is not recommended to use strong and abrasive substances with normal care. Due to increased smoothness, paint for heating batteries is less prone to accumulation of dust and dirt. To increase strength in the coloring composition, Titan oxide is included.

Before you use paint for heating batteries, you need to prepare the surface. Firstly, you need to turn them off and let cool. Then remove all the old paint, rust. To do this, you can use the mechanical method (metal brushes). For greater adhesion, it is also advisable to degrease (white spirit, kerosene) and polish with sandpaper.

At the end of the cleaning procedure, it is advisable to cover the batteries with an anti -corrosion substance, for example, with a special primer. Battery paint will be the more beautiful and even more to cover the surface, the more carefully the preparatory stage is carried out.

Depending on the type of surface, the paint consumption for heating batteries can vary from 90 to 120 ml per square meter. m. You can conduct staining both with the help of a brush and a spray gun. In the first case, the paint consumption will be slightly higher, but it will be possible to get to more inaccessible places. The optimal method is a combination of both methods: manual and mechanical.
